My daughter uses it so the baby can see her father (they are living apart due to my daughter's job) but cannot hang up the phone. She also uses it in the car so the baby can watch the "nom nom" video on You Tube The product puts the Iphone in a safe pocket with a plastic cover which allows for viewing and allows adults to use the touch screen but baby cannot hang up the phone or damage the phone by pushing on it. The "feet" and the base of the body have weighted beans which keeps the product upright. It is not so heavy as to be a danger to the baby. I think it would protect the phone even if it is dropped or thrown by a baby or toddler. Great idea. The product is great. The fur is soft. The stuffing is firm and cuddly and so far has kept its shape well (she sleeps with it). The stitching is rugged enough to be dragged around by one leg. best use is to pop in a device set stream a movie and place it in the child's lap. There is some difficulty in playing games where you have to drag things across the screen, but games where you just tap objects it works just fine. I use this a holder in bed or on a plane so i can position the screen and not have to hold it. Adult rating: Only 4 stars because of the loss tactile response and difficulty turning the device on (you have to remove it) However there is enough room for headphones to plug in and come out the top.
